I have a laptop, do I have to buy a new one?

You do not have to buy a new laptop.  However, your coursework uses software that functions best on computers with high processing speed and larger memory.  We recommend a PC with an Intel or Intel-compatible Pentium 4 class processor, a minimum of 1 GB RAM but 4 GB is ideal, and 100 GB of disk space. If you have a MAC, it can work but you will need a virtual machine to run Windows.

Do I have to purchase insurance?

Insurance is optional for US Citizens but required for international students.  Visit the university’s student health website to learn more about student health insurance and who is eligible to receive it.
